Todd’s awareness of global trends, knowledge of brand strategy and understanding of consumer behaviour result in an ability to perfectly tailor products and brand. His love of typography and colour, acute eye for detail and diverse knowledge of packaging mediums has led to the development of many significant product ranges and design systems.
Previous positions have seen partnerships with some of the world’s largest retailers alongside nurturing smaller companies just starting out, playing an essential role in projects from initial concepts through to final print and product production. Todd is currently based in Cape Town, where as creative director at Union Swiss, he plays a significant role in the design of the companies impressive line of global brands including Bio-Oil and Lipidol.
In addition to his commercial work, Todd continues to play an important role within the design community. As a mentor and pre selection judge for the International Council of Design (ico-D) and the Adobe Design Achievement Awards (ADAA), he is able to offer support and experience to design students and those just starting out in their careers. Todd is also a member of the AIGA and is the author of The Design Life blog.
Todd is a proud father. When he's not designing, he's a keen cyclist and distance runner and has taken part in a number of events including the Cape Town Marathon, The Discovery Duathlon and the Cape Town Cycle Tour.

Subsequently this both reduced production times and increased revenues giving the company a significant competitive advantage.
Finalist in the Orange Award For Bright Business 2004: Nominated for the innovative thought and determination to introduce creative design systems which resulted in a substantial financial gain for the company.
The Sunday Times Fast Track 2004 and The Queens Award: Within Somerset Creative, was one of three senior designers who established and grew a design studio which was part of a company that subsequently ranked 12th fastest growing UK Company in the Sunday Times Fast Track Awards and also won the prestigious Queens Award.
